How to decline a Reward?

Not all Talent Scouts are eligible for rewards. This is set in your Reward Policy (see here for more information).

If your Talent Scout is not eligible for the reward, you have two opportunities to inform the Talent Scout and the system that the reward shouldn't be paid out.

A) When hiring the candidate, select "Don’t pay a reward":

Some additional options will appear, with the option to send a message to the Talent Scout. The options are standardized and cannot be edited:

  • This candidate has already been referred by another Talent Scout;
  • This candidate is already known to us;
  • Not eligible because of HR/management position;
  • Not eligible according to our reward policy.

 

B) When the reward payment is upcoming / due, select "Decline":

Some additional options will appear, with the option to send a message to the Talent Scout. The options are standardized and cannot be edited:

  • This candidate has already been referred by another Talent Scout;
  • This candidate is already known to us;
  • Not eligible because of HR/management position;
  • Not eligible according to our reward policy.

 

When you're declining a reward and choosing the option, you can always include a personal message for the Talent Scout.
